Forest seasons

Winter

Winter berriesWinter is a special time with frosty mornngs and crunchy ground beneath your feet.  It's also a time to put on your wellies and get mucky!  The woodland takes on a bare feel and wildlife adapts to the different conditions.  The deer change their coats to become more camouflaged against the dark background whilst many other animals are deep in hibernation waiting for spring to come.
